Tax - our raison d'etre
Our main preoccupation is with tax and tax advice, compliance and planning. Profit extraction and legally maximising after tax wealth, income and capital is not a one-size-fits-all permanent overcoat. Like fashion, taxation and the economy are always on the change, none more so than if and when we have a change of Chancellor or more dramatically, a change of Government. It is a marathon, not a sprint, as they say. A continuous process of listening to our clients and finding opportunities to benefit them.
As well as tax, we also offer pretty much every other service you would expect from a free thinking general practice, including: accountancy, assurance, tax planning and compliance, VAT returns, audit, bucket loads of financial common sense and a payroll bureau with auto-enrolment. Best of all, we charge...
No Time Recorded Fees!
We don't know how to tell the time and we won't charge you insidious extra fees. We care very much about our clients and their success is our success. With financial health care, prevention or cure, a little forethought really does go a long way. All our fees are quoted in advance and we do not charge for every e-mail and telephone call.
Auto-enrolment and Payroll
Small and micro businesses are being forced to comply with auto-enrolment for workplace pensions. A scheme is compulsory, whether anyone joins it or not. We can hand-hold clients through the initial stages and take out the worry of the heavy penalties for non-compliance. TOP TIP - don't forget the total minimum increases from 2% to 5% in April 2018 ! Our payroll bureau is available to clients and non-clients alike - e-mail Annette for a price list: email@example.com

Since October 2013, we have been regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales for a range of investment business activities. The compliance legislation is filled with legal jargon, but in essence this means we can advise on the purchase and sale of shares which are not Listed, introduce Independent Financial Advisers and evaluate and comment on their advice.
We are not allowed to promote or recommend specific insurance or investment products, but our Designated Professional Body status does allow us to give generic tax-led advice and holistic solutions to our clients needs. The Web site address for our registration is: www.fca.org.uk/register firm number 012551.
We use the Internet extensively for an increasing amount of client contact as well as well as keeping in touch with the latest tax news and research into technical issues. We invest in the newest technology available and always use the most up to date version of Sage, which enables us to upload client's data for accounts processing. Additionally, our cloud-based online accounting uses Xero for which we offer a full management and back-up service.
