Geoffrey Rogers Chartered Accountants opened on April the 2nd, 2001, when Geoff decided to start his own business, having spent 26 years as a partner with Atkey Goodman, Chartered Accountants.

Geoff's life hasn't always been fun, however. He spent four years with the wines and spirits division of Allied Breweries, learning an awful lot about booze. After that he joined Atkey Goodman as a partner in 1975, where he built a huge portfolio of well-respected clients.

As well as starting in business, Geoff came to Plymouth to go sailing and has competed in many local and long distance events. On dry land he supports Plymouth Albion RFC at every opportunity.

Geoff takes a special interest in taxation, especially tax planning, and he has a specific expertise in trust tax. Tax advice, tax consultancy and the proactive management of clients taxation affairs comprise the main elements of the practice.
